Description:
Parody of "Back In Black" by AC/DC ©1980 Atlantic Recording Corporation

This song kinda' speaks for itself, heheh! Featuring George W. Bush (packosmokes) on vocals and Dick Cheney (chikoppi) on lead guitar.

Lyrics:
Back in Bush,

I need a push,

To keep the White House a place for my tush.

Gimme’ four more years,

To shoot some deers,

And keep marriage away from the queers.

I’m a strong man, with a plan,

Although I’m not a Michael Moore fan,

Ya gotta’ vote for me,

And then you’ll see,

How happy daddy Bush is gonna’ be

Vote me back,

Because I bombed iraq

And maybe I can choke on another snack.

Well, I may be thick

Or make ya sick

But remember my V.P.’s a Dick,

Y’know, I thought Saddam had an atom bomb,

But I’ll just lie and say the CIA was wrong.

So vote for me now and I’ll promise today

I’m gonna’ put the hurtin’ on the Democrat way

Better debate format? &mdash 10/01/04 - 06:57:09 PM
Ever notice the Democrats often seem to be musicians? Maybe we should scrap the (psuedo) debates and opt for a battle of the bands instead. Kerry on guitar, Clinton on sax, etc. This is a gut-buster! You should send it to local radio stations!

Funny &mdash 10/01/04 - 09:21:40 PM
I usually berate people when they do something political, but seeing as this was not a political message against or for Bush per say, it was pretty funny. The singing reminded me a little of Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movies. "Throw me a frickin' presidency" Good stuff

very fun, entertaining and well written song. Good
imitation of Bush's voice too. Cheers.

I like first half &mdash 10/02/04 - 11:01:31 AM
The first half of song is very good with the two rhyming
verses. It rambles on after that. I guess It's much like the
clear articulation in campaign speeches as compared to
the boring sound snippets that dribble out of the oval
office after the win. Anyway, making this song half as long
will make it twice as good. Good satire. I respect that. We
all have to be willing to laugh at ourselves. Life is only a
movie.

Right song, right time, right place... &mdash 10/02/04 - 12:49:03 PM
What a great creatively expressive song. Sum it up in
3 words: funny, funny, funny. Thanks for sharing
this. I wouldn't be surprised to hear this get some
radio play.

You've got my vote bah-ha-ha-hack! &mdash 10/02/04 - 12:49:53 PM
OMG! This is absolutely, hands down, the most brilliant
song I've heard here in awhile! Pack, you've captured
George W. Bravo! And Chikoppi--gosh, what can I say? I
hate ACDC, but I think you've just made me a fan... of
you! Bravo! Bravo!

Dr. Evil!!! &mdash 10/02/04 - 02:47:24 PM
The vocals could be a bit louder in the mix (since
that's really what's important here), as well as the
drums. The guitar high-end was a little grating, but
very well done.

Your impersonation of Pres. Bush... &mdash 10/02/04 - 03:11:44 PM
is as good as any SNL has ever done. Very funny, well
constructed parody/song. Guitar is solid. You have
natural comedic timing and flare. I am impressed!

ANGUS ANGUS ANGUS!!!! &mdash 10/03/04 - 04:57:30 PM
YEAH!! I just bought "If you want blood you got it" (again,
the tape is wearing out so I bought the CD) and reckon
"Back in Black" is one of the all time great rock albums. I
like the way you changed a couple of the chords to avoid
copyright problems but all I can say is WOW CHIKDUDE!!!!
Massive respect. Angus Young is one of my all time guitar
heroes and you have done a SMOKING job here (got
Malcolm down pretty well too, the chords have just the
right feel to them). I had no idea you could play like this.
Lovingly done...

As for Packo, well what can I say? Chik's guitar playing just
blew me away but after a couple of listens I got into the
vocals. Is there no limit to what you can do? If I were wierd
Al Yankowicz I'd be losing some serious sleep.

If the present Tense is this good, the future Tense will be
massive. A conjugation of talent.

Brilliant.

ANGUS ANGUS ANGUS!!!! &mdash 10/03/04 - 10:00:38 PM
Thanks Ringo (and everyone else) for the props! I want to make clear though
that the only thing I contributed to the song was the solo bit. Everything else,
including rhythm guitar, is Packo. This is his joint...he was just kind enough to
give me a toke!

ANGUS ANGUS ANGUS!!!! &mdash 10/04/04 - 04:47:05 AM
wow, still great Chik but Packo really well done. I Jam that riff all the time and
you really got the flavour of it. You should stop saying you can't play guitar
dude, this really ROCKS!

ANGUS ANGUS ANGUS!!!! &mdash 10/04/04 - 03:08:18 PM
Well, it's not that I can't play it, but I can't play it well, heh! If you heard how
many mistakes I made along the way, you'd know I could never play that song
live. :P

But thanks though! I am trying to get to a point where I could be a solid
rhythm guitar player.

GENIUS &mdash 10/06/04 - 10:43:03 AM
This the greatest thinkpiece in the history of political
satire.

Long live Kerry! Long live liberals!

With Kerry in office we can invite Al-Qaeda to our country
and commiserate with regards to the fact that the US is
the largest terrorist state in the world! I say, let's blame
the US for everything! Conservatives killed Jesus!

The world is gonna be a better place when we cater to the
whims of France and Germany.....I just know it!

[insert politically correct synonym for 'higher power'] Bless
America!

Well done.

Love it! Made my day that's for sure. I myself am
working on a similar parody like song called "I Don't
Wanna Be Drafted." Will it be as good as this? One
can only hope...

and i'll be listening to this song over and over.
I don't laugh out loud by myself (unless i'm naked) but
this one did it for me! And the way Packosmokes made
George W. sound soooo stupid, I thought it was really the
president singing! Picture is perfect. Dick actually looks
almost good with hair!
