Description
I wanted to know what would happen if I just hit record and started to play the piano. This is what happened this time around. Aside for a couple of edited notes, this is exactly how I played it from the start. One take. There are some things I would change , but that was not the point of this piece.

This is part of my New Every Two series in which I release a new piece of music every two weeks. Please visit my Web site (www.csongs.com) for more information and mp3 downloads. Thanks for listening.

ooh - you're good! Those jazz chords come really hard to me, so I'm so impressed you can play them in an improv. As a fellow pianist, I appreciate your dynamics here, control of the instrument while letting it fly. Very nice! Lovely, deeply rich tones from the keyboard - I might have to get me one of those! Thanks

Double
Too bad I can't double fav this one. My wife likes it too. I am very impressed with the tone you are getting out of the Akoustic Piano. The C3 must be a fine instrument also. Was was recorded via midi?

Thanks
Bill

Thanks Bill
I was not very pleased with the Akoustik Piano plugin until I read somewhere about a preset called "Phil's" Apparently, Phil was an original programer on the beta project and did this preset to show off the program. Native Instruments liked it so much that they included it in the shipping version.

As for the C3, it is amazing. If you are not familiar with it, it is an acoustic grand piano with fibre-optics that allow it to act as a controler keyboard. So you get the best of both worlds - a midi keyboard and a real piano.

Thank you for your double vote. I am glad you and your wife enjoyed it.

mid-morning
what a great project to give yourself and what a lovely result. You play beautifully. Do you like the Akoustik piano program? I'm looking into buying Ivory, but would love to hear your opinion of other software. Lovely melody and jazzy chords. This is excellent - even more so because it was improv. Thanks!

for you comments. Regarding Akoustik Piano - not my favorite piano. I have a very hard time getting it to sound like I want. I am very close to replacing it.
