Thanks for the input I am new to MacJams so I don't have a clue about MacJams etiquette. I am replying to your post but also to others who have commented. It is amazing to get nearly real-time feed back on musical projects. Your input is helpful and will serve to clarify some hazy ideas I have floating around in my head about where the project should go from here. I am going to try out some of the ideas presented here and re-post the revised song. I have a few other things I am working on but might post them just to get ideas. Name It Later This is a great start. It's funny how sometimes the melody comes to you first and you fill in the rest, but other times you have the "bed" and await the arrival of the melodies. Your music is amazing I listened to some of your music posted here. I am sorry but I stay very busy and it will take awhile to listen to everything but I promise I will. Your training and background are evident in your compositions. They are beautiful. Having read your comments on my music and then hearing your music really makes me appreciative of your opinion. I will always welcome comments from someone with your skills and talent. As time permits I will listen more intently to your music and comment specifically on each piece. This could be one of the middle parts... The struggle theme or something.
It's really very cool. I could have enjoyed somewhere in the middle for the main instruments to quiet slightly have a ripping crunched sustain guitar solo. Slow and soulful, not too loud, almost in the background but very evident.
That to me would have totally made the piece.
