Description:
I wrote this wee poem about life in Glasgow. I might be a tad byest, but i think there is no better place to be than Glasgow. It is spoken in Scottish slang. The words and accents vary across the country....this is Glesga Patter.I wish I could say the bag pipes in the background were me, but no....maybe one day though. The tune is called 'Amazing Grace'. I deleted the first version and have put up this replacement, if you heard it before you prob won't notice the difference because it is so slight, but i have tried to adjust the tone to make it sound like more like me. Anyway enough pish fae me... Lyrics:
Whit ye dain stonen awer there lookin aw glaikit Git oot the rain ‘n’ mon awer here fir a blether It may be dreich, it may be drab But this is oor wee toon, naer mind the weather Fir punters ‘n’ patter theres nae place like it Fir music ‘n’ swally it’s pure gallus Fullay wee nooks ‘n’ crannies tay discover Mon stoat inside this belter ay a palace Awrite Jimmi, hows it gaun?
