Description
I wrote this wee poem about life in Glasgow. I might be a tad byest, but i think there is no better place to be than Glasgow. It is spoken in Scottish slang. The words and accents vary across the country....this is Glesga Patter.
I wish I could say the bag pipes in the background were me, but no....maybe one day though. The tune is called 'Amazing Grace'.
I deleted the first version and have put up this replacement, if you heard it before you prob won't notice the difference because it is so slight, but i have tried to adjust the tone to make it sound like more like me. Anyway enough pish fae me...

Git oot the rain ‘n’ mon awer here fir a blether
It may be dreich, it may be drab
But this is oor wee toon, naer mind the weather
Fir punters ‘n’ patter theres nae place like it
Fir music ‘n’ swally it’s pure gallus
Fullay wee nooks ‘n’ crannies tay discover
Mon stoat inside this belter ay a palace
Awrite Jimmi, hows it gaun?
Yer lookin a wee bit pished
Aye pal, blootert, steamin, stocious
Its just whit a wished
