flakey? I don't think that's flakey at all. Iris Dement once said something similar about songwriting and I totally identify with it. The idea is that the songs are already "there" and we just kind of uncover them. It's what makes something sound right or wrong when you're writing them. Sounds like hippy jargon, but I buy in to it. You've got a great voice Very darkly poetic song...nicely produced. I will say that I'm not a fan of the static-y sounds... I tend to find it distracting... but that's merely a matter of personal taste and not a reflection on this very cool song. Really liked the vocal effect on the ending verse... nice! Disturbing is good :D I like beautiful and disturbing things, straight up happy doesn't do it for me :D I think all music is better in headphones, you are more likely to get what I do with panning more clearly also. I love a good pan :D Check out my latest song called fadeAway
