well, actually, no guitar was touched in any way on this. i spent as much time on the crowd loops, handclapping, and reverb as i spent on singing and sequencing everything else!

the guitar is the Bluesy Acoustic Guitar synth. I started from a few loops and changed around the notes a lot. but i kept the rhythm and expression mostly. i seriously doubt it could actually be played as it is now (too many notes at once).

i think the AU Matrix reverb helps a lot overall.
the clapping comes from Classic Hip Hop Remix drum kit. i used two clap sounds plus some extra reverb on them. plus i threw them off rhythm here and there as if the audience lost the beat occasionally (but i on a few more listens i think i over did that!)

I'm floating over the crowd, landing briefly on a girl's hair before taking flight and drifting around over a sea of gently swaying people. Everything is colour, everything is music, and life feels so sweet to be this light and this free...
I love the crowd effects here - they're timed and sequenced just right. And you're quite right about the claps working well if you 'off' the timing a hair - I did that will 'Dance Ye Scurvy Swabs' earlier and was pleasantly surprised at how it 'humanizes' the sound. And I have to add my amazement about the guitar.
