Description
our song for Feter's MJ woodstock ... a common man's theme song!

The Roadies party .... with all that equipment on site roadies can play like kids in a candy store. After a long day and beer time "writing the perfect song" can be a topic of a jam,..... it was with this jam that somehow stumbled thru to the end. All these laptops open to "garageband" ... hmmmm. The perfect song about the problems of relationships on the road. Sung with four variations at once. Very long day .... beer thirty..... ahemmm.

Quote of the night...."I'll bet there are 30 good songs in that... [belch] "
" ... he don't know c...."

Lyrics
[ On the back of a pizza carton found on top of the stage Hammond]

i wrote these words
maybe you know or don't know
just what in the world was i thinking

maybe you'd like to send
lilies or moonbeams to me

i'm thinking you don't

oh what a glorious fling
it was meant to be
with a broken heart
waiting for me
yippee

under the door jamb
last wednesday i found it
the name and the address was me
and as i read now from " jones smith and urbottom"
i can take all the cat's things with me

[and it just kind muddles thru from there]

Loved it.
A really fun song liked it a lot with the happy laughing and the dog barking at the end did it for me. As well as the singing and the music of course which was pretty cool too. Thanks for sharing.

hehehe...
You know, I was almost ROFL'ing, but then I looked down at the floor, and well, all the week-old pizza and beer stains on the carpet (that was beer, right?) I decided to just stand and snicker. This was great... definitely felt like I was there with the roadies... hey wait, I WAS a roadie once in HS, hauling my best friend's guitar amps and stuff, no wonder this is familiar :-) Excellent, late night jam.
ttfn,
