Description:
another spur of the moment act of boredom that started yesturday while working on recordings. 3 chords two rhythems and than started adding to it and than words that i wrote mostly last night at work. not near done, not sure if it ever will be just like all my songs.still working on the ending part my cold began to kick in right as i was flushing out more lyrics.

how did what go? back? if you mean on macjams i'll try i always end up fading from most the world for a while and get in the routine of work and sleep. thanks for the comment, the vocals were better until my cold suddenly reappeared lol.

oh right. wow that was a while ago. sorry bout the double comment my comp was being weird. i played a couple shows when i got back to seattle, i got really sick when i got back tho so it sort of shut me down for a while and than my parents were moving so i sort of got pawned off on my aunt, i ended up getting a job and i've sort of fallen into the routine of life again since, but have been trying to save up some money and got a good laptop so that i cant use my computer messing up as a reason to quit recording. it's hitting that time of year where i tend to get motivated again, so i'm sure i shall schedule some shows again soon and hopefully finish a cd over the next few months.

in washing ton for several years, Oly... and in that time i wrote alot of dark tunes. the rain brings it out in you. this is a good tune. i would have liked to hear soem more vocal production, like a little compression, and maybe a touch of delay, or reverb. but for a stripped down live feel, this one typifies the creative process. nicely done

thanks. yea i haven't gotten to the production phase, mostly put it up so one of my friends could hear. stupid cold came back before i was finished. it definitely has been a long unrelenting winter lol.

Solid song. Good start. The description said you're still working on it so it'd be nice to hear a beat or something else in the track. Or maybe not, as this is a sort of somber song, I dunno.

Maybe go a little easier on vibrato too, but again, maybe that's the best fit for this song. Just a personal preference.

I am greatly surprized how you have developed the last 2 years.This sounds very good, your production is also a lot better. Your vocals are also very nice, I agree that you could go easier on the vibrate, but that is just a matter of taste i guess:). your guitar playing is very solid and sticks to the rythm, but i wish it was a little more dynamic, thats something to work on! Nevertheless, this is a very good song and a very good recording, im looking forward to hear more!

yes the guitar is very simple. i think i might raise the volume of the other two guitar tracks behind it because they break it up quite a bit, but i think they may be hard to hear. it sounded a little more apparent of the different parts with headphones.

this is an angst ridden piece of acousticrockballadeering..powerful imagery yet left to be carried by one acoustic guitar ..thumbs up .I can hear crashing drums and searing electric gtrs behind this....but I think that would be like messing with"Love On The Rocks" like the poncey English rock star wants to in The Jazz Singer.Good one ..
