Description:
I am so happy (allegre, alegre, allegro, etc) that my latency problems with GB/LE have been fixed that I thought I would write a happy song. It has been a while and is good to be back. I used a melody form a previous composition (my christmas song). This is a very simple tune that flows through out the whole piece. I hope you like it.
I re downloaded this song after I noticed some sound problems now fixed.
The picture was taken in Idaho in Sept 2006 while driving back to California.

Enrique,
Mozart would be proud of you! This is a delightful little piece given the old Chopin treatment 3/4 of the way in. Your facility with the keyboard is always a delight. Glad you are "back in business." Computer problems are a real drag.
Peace.

Boy, this really takes me back to childhood practicing of Chopin, Mozart, Haydn, etc. Clearly you did too! This is lovely, spot on for the genre - makes me want to go PRACTICE (not!!) [ Reply to This ]
well, I sure remember those summer days... &mdash 03/23/08 - 01:24:38 PM
practicing piano while my friends played outside and had fun! Is funny, to this day, my sister complaints they did not force her to practice because she now wishes she could play the piano!

That's better. Wonderful photo, and sweet upbeat piece of music. I like the early Mozart-like first part, and the late romantic second part. I can't imagine how wonderful it must be to have this music flow from your fingertips. It is certainly wonderful for ME to listen to! Glad the computer is behaving itself better now. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

Mozartian. Very good chord progressions and style of Mozart. Then, Chopian. Ala the minute waltz. You are a musical time traveller! [ Reply to This ]

I like how you combined these periods and how you aren't afraid to write classical music. This piece is delightful and fun. Thanks for sharing it.
