Silly ditty &mdash 03/24/08 - 12:34:38 AM
Nice poppy post with plenty of interesting elements to keep the old ears tuned in.Would make for a entertaining video.A tad too much silliness for my tastes but still would reccomend it to others.Simple and straight ahead, tongue in the ole' cheek pop music.Much enjoyed.

Blessings,

I enjoyed this! &mdash 03/24/08 - 07:21:50 AM
I play golf and usually not many women do. But one time a buddy and I did see a real stunning girl playing and oh wow could she play!

She was in the foursome in front of us and it was a busy day so often we were stacked up behind them on the tee box. She hit from the mens tees and every single time, right down the middle of the fairway usually about 220 to 240 or so.

The guys playing with her would just shake their heads in frustration!

I agreee.. &mdash 03/24/08 - 12:54:04 PM
Haha, thanks for the comments guys, your right this i s a little silly, but it was just a bit of fun. I have have lots of 'serious' alt rock tunes that i'm working on and hope to get up here, so for me this was a bit of a one off! Still, i we had great fun arranging and recording it! Cheers for dropping by:)

Hey McKenzie! &mdash 03/28/08 - 10:11:11 AM
Good use of FX. Great accent. A bit 'Streets', but that's not a bad thing..

Well recorded, I like when the bass kicks in. The comedy angle reminds me of the kind of thing that used to appear in the (UK) charts years ago, like Jilted John or John Otway & Wild Willy Barrett (have you heard of them - check out 'Really Free' and you'll get what I'm talking about...). Has a punkish element of not giving a f*ck about what you record. Good on ya!

There's always room for light relief - it shows you don't need to take it too seriously. Well produced; only downside for me is the abrupt ending, but that's a minor thing.

Good work, man! DL'd & faved

Jim

great writing &mdash 07/04/08 - 06:22:17 AM
Your style is amazing. I will be watching you closely. I think you have a great talent and are very original. While this is a clever/funny song the chord changes and melodies are really great. Thanks for the post and I am glad I found you.

The production is second to none.

The song is second to none.

You're second to none.

(That's a pretty deep accent, though.) lol

thanks to everyone who's commented, &mdash 09/13/08 - 06:57:53 PM
i WILL reply individually, but i need to take this opportunity to mention that this is not me singing. Nor did i write the lyrics. My friend Joe does all that, all i do is put the music behind it and do the recording side of things! The same applies for soup of the day. Thanks!!
