I wonder sometimes what WoodStock would have been like had they had the synths of today!

Could you imagine the wild stuff?

Thank YOU! &mdash 03/24/08 - 02:07:16 PM
Feter, Mark & Barretok, I appreciate your remarks and I'm glad you like the piece. Its hard to reproduce the electrified atmosphere of those days. We had shadow dancers on the screen, mixed with multi 16 mm film loops and multiple liquid projectors, enhanced with foreground and background multicolored lights thrown onto a 40x20 foot rear projection screen....it was an amazing experience. This is where I began to realize that music, light and color were powerful tools for inner transformation.....Peace, Norman

Nice long lines &mdash 03/24/08 - 06:46:04 PM
of over percolating pulses. Cool jam.

Glad you like it....now if I can get my coffee to percolate as well as my music I'll be in like Flynn... ;-) Peace, Norman

This piece &mdash 03/25/08 - 06:59:35 AM
says all there is to say about the atmosphere of the time with the transcendental feel of the of the time. You've really captured that 'feel' here in this musical capsule, great sounds and I love the go-o-o-ong and the harp, good one Norman. You really need to wear a Kaftan while listening to this though LOL, regards M

Thanks Maurice &mdash 03/25/08 - 01:17:12 PM
I think the Kaftan is a good idea but I still insist on wearing my beanie with the propeller top! Thats why I'm soooo cool! ;-) Thanks again for your kind comments.....Peace, Norman

That transcendent counterculture sound &mdash 03/25/08 - 10:45:43 PM
That's what I remember. I was there, albeit at arm's length. I had a few hippie friends.

Thanks Richard! &mdash 03/26/08 - 01:13:17 AM
Glad the music struck a distant resonant chord....Used to know some of them hippy people myself....but I tried to keep some of those Earth Mothers closer than arms length. 8-) Peace buddy, Norman

I'm sober &mdash 03/27/08 - 02:01:01 PM
as a nun in church, but this had me seeing colors! Very well done. Very textured. Relaxed mood but tense tones... great contrast!

Colors are Good! &mdash 03/27/08 - 11:33:07 PM
Glad to know that your color filter came off and you broke on through to the other side....Thats what the 60's were all about! Thanks for standing up for me with the bombers...its appreciated....I have a theory that that the bombers are young punkers who had to listen to their parent's 60's music all the time and now they are taking revenge!... ;-) Peace, Norman

Sorta "Doors-y" &mdash 03/27/08 - 02:13:13 PM
Like it could have taken off from the middle of "Riders on the Storm." Real good. Thanks. Hopefully the Bomb Filter will get rid of the completely undeserved "1"s

Thank you Pastor &mdash 03/28/08 - 02:11:45 AM
Had a friend who lived with Jim Morrison in a house on Haight St. He had some very interesting stories to tell.....I'm glad you heard a bit of "Riders" in it....The Doors is one of my all time favorite groups. Peace to you, Norman

Don't let the &mdash 03/27/08 - 04:40:35 PM
ones bother you. it's a GREAT tune! I'm learning (newcomer to MJ myself) that there is lots of bombing going on and it really sucks...

Just take your read on the comments!

Very cool piece of music &mdash 04/06/08 - 01:55:48 PM
Nice groove, and lovely use of keyboards (love that organ sound). The guitar adds a nice touch of grit, and the waves of synth chords washing over everything give everything a lovely ethereal feel. There is a beautiful, hypnotic vibe to the track - almost trance-like - that pulls you away from here to...well, there, I guess! Excellent production and sound overall. Nicely done. Peace.
