Description
so i took that horrible CC Deville sounding guitar riff and processed it to death (chopped it into a million pieces, rearranged and added effects). I then laid out 3 tracks of it, built a drum track and then started playing bass until i had something i thought I might be able to make a song around.
the loop is throughout the song, but is most noticeable in the intro, quiet sections and outro. i think it sounds like a couple of synth parts. there is a rhythmic insect sound, some feedback-ey sort of noise and something that sounds vaguely like a flute. i usually do a song and then add the icing, but in this case the icing came first and i had to wrap a song around it.
this is sort of a shoegaze kind of song, fuzz-pop if you will. i was obsessed with bands like my bloody valentine, ride, slowdive and swervedriver, and still am basically.
