.. I already liked the original melody .. this mix (and vocals) have greatly reduced that earlier game console vibe ..which wasn't a bad thing .. but I like this alot better. Richer, fuller and interesting lyrics/subject.

I appreciate you comparative listen between this track and the original namio tune. The melody and lyrics came to me quite some time after I had done the original. I kind of stewed on different variations of the words for a few weeks before I plucked up the courage to get in front of the mic and go for it.
I just checked out the Kinnarps site...I can see why you favour them, very impressive gear.

beautiful. i love the 2 rhythms that come in together after the first verse. this is really nice Bryn, i expect nothing less from you. what a fully realized work. it's just what i wanted to hear. did you get the FM sounds from the albino? i'm glad to see that you put what you used to record (helpful for me).

Lets see...the bass sound is a combination of the cheezemachine (free software plugin) and the ES1 synth in Logic Audio. The flute sounds and the string sounds are the cheeze machine, the plinky sound about half way thru is the EVD6. The albino kind of augments the string sound of the cheezemachine. The FM sounds are a combination of the lounge lizard and the cheezemachine synth. I made the drum track with 3 Ultrabeat drum machines running simultaneously and added a bit of CR78 kick/snare/hihat with the Waldorf Attack.
The wire track...how to proceed indeed. I need a strong backing track to get me going. Ill message you with a few ideas.
