Description:
I have tried to create a tune with an ambient feel and I have also been experimental with the beats and instruments. I am really happy with the result and enjoy listening to this especially on headphones as the sounds come through better.

Romantic piano part - reminds me a bit of that bloke Erik Satie who has been used on quite a few dance tracks.Like the filter changes on the drums,too.Very creative,regards - Richard

I like how you set the stage with electronica and then enter with this very melancholy old world piano. I could imagine vocals or even random sound bytes going nicely with this.

.. the playful experimenting .. with pleasing timely variations that keep you listening. Important in an instrumental ambient piece. Everything works very well together here... and I too like the use of filters on the drums.
Dance-club ambience .. chill-out tent here I come :o)

i like the twangy sort of feel. not sure that's the right word exactly but it has a bit more higher tone to it than most pieces like this and sort of sparks out which is a bit unique. it's definitely cool. i like when the piano comes in it breaks of the other instruments with out making it sound abrupt which is good. it took me a second to realize the other sounds had stopped lol. i expected the piano to go on for a little longer, it was starting to get to me and than it went to a break and than the sort of repeating theme. i think i would have continued the little piano piece a bit longer perhaps used it as the ending bit. but maybe that's just cuz i rather like that sort of piano piece. nice track though.

i concur with the Satie reference below. you did a really cool piece, don't know that i would consider it ambient, but i do know i like it. you used the loops very effectively and that piano is perfect there. great job.

I like the mellow keys over the more intense drum sounds it works very well. It's not to my usual taste being guitar based myself but it was a very enjoyable listen. Thanks for sharing Rachael.

Reminds me of the days of The Orb and the more ambient Aphex Twin stuff. Nice texturing of sounds. I like the space you manage to create, and the piano with the minor chord progression is inspired. I will check out some of your other stuff.

The music just seems to kind of fit together like a favorite puzzle. It's hard to figure out how it's going to go together, and then all of a sudden the whole picture comes into view. No one is sure how you did it, but the results are very satisfying indeed.

has an orbital feel to it, especially through the use of specific leads and ze 808. This is however, not experimental (not to be disdainful), this is breakbeat or broken-beat. The piano chord sounds very familiar;)

A very cool use of that old 808 style drum sound and groove. This has a nice light touch. The piano sounds really nice, almost has a slight "Muse" feel when the piano is doing its progressions.
