Description:
This sounds remains me of a bucolic scene. In the spring of 2003 we went to Bodie, a ghost town in California. It was a beautiful day and we got caught in a spring (or summer?) shower, clearing the sky, and filling my mind of wonderful memories. Thinking of my wife and kids made my play this song, composed "on the fly", stopping only to correct mistakes, adjust LE because of memory overload, and add one track on top of the other, sort of speak. I hope you like it. Quite short but sweet and melodic. Piano, flute and guitar play with each other for the melody.

Yamaha CVP-98, MacBook, Fire wire external drive, Uno Sport Midi Cable (nothing fancy as you can see).

Software:
LE, Ivory Piano with 12" German Steinway

...sweet little song, Enrique. It is so peaceful and unadorned with anything other than pure music. Very nice. Consider a little reverb everywhere, esp. with the flute. The recording sounds "live," but a little "dry." Don't exactly know how to put it...Ivory has a 12' Steinway?

This could be a hymn tune. Would not be a big problem to come up with lyrics for this.

The flute sound is pleasant and works well.

The melody sounds as if it's been around for 200 years (I mean that in a good way). Very singable.

"Nothing fancy"? -- If you've got a digital piano MIDIed to your Mac, and you've got LE -- the world is at your fingertips! You're only limited by your imagination. Think of what composers from 50 years ago (heck, 20 years ago) would think of your setup, and all the possibilities at your disposal. We really are living in the future.

Sweet tune.

You essentially have 3 sections of 4 phrases. The first two start with similar sounding themes and the third deviates a bit more. For symmetry, I'd end with repeating the first section.
