Description
Just goofing around with my ukulele -- an instrument I obviously cannot play. No, really. I know you couldn't tell, but I'm here to say I simply cannot play the ukulele. So sit back and listen to me trying!

Lyrics
Won't you come home, Bill Bailey?
Won't you come home?
I moaned the whole night long
I'll do the cookin', honey
I'll pay the rent.
I know I done you wrong.

Remember that rainy evenin'
I threw you out
with nothin' but a fine toothed comb?
I know I'm to blame
Now, ain't that a shame?
Bill Bailey won't you please come home?

All that matters,
is that you were having fun and let us in on it. Love it because it's the real you shining through Joanna.

Thanks for sharing it.

Enjoyed this
There is such character in this, your soooo expressive Joanna. It really seems to have that warm and fuzziness feeling. It seems like Macjams just wouldn't be the same without you Joanna!

Thanks for sharing!

"The High Priestess of Vaudeville?"
You are the post-modern Sophie Tucker.

I like the way you stretch out the song looking for the chords on the uke. Sounds like me.

Very charming.

Ah, the alure of the uke . . .
I know I was tempted in Hawaii to get one, but . . . This is cute even if ya can't play. The interplay with the instrument as you make your way through is all the charm.
Thanks,
Stephen
