Description
When the nefarious 80's Rock Guitar was introduced as a LIOLI 7 challenge, I had far too many possibilities to just stop at one track.
This "Subterranean" variation was actually the first that I worked on, but the posted "Capture" was the one I thought was most 'complete' as a composition to present in the challenge.
"Subterranean" is offered as part of the Hero's Journey Project, because it's a track that invites the imagination to create a scene or story of its own.
All the mechanical sounds you hear in this piece are various manipulations of the Guitar loop, reversed then fragmented in KT Granulator on various settings.
Additional sound effects come from the freesound project: http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/
thanks to: tweeterjd (crowd sounds) and roubignolle (door shutting) and mattlohkamp (door shutting)
(you might also hear the artists Mungo and sonic magpie passing through...)

Wow, this gives me shivers.. It's amazing, the sounds you got out of a guitar loop! Your projects are awesomely innovative, and this one is no exception. Just amazing...
