This is cool! &mdash 10/06/04 - 11:44:12 PM
I get the feeling of the place where you grew up from this.
Has a sixties "surf" style with a "now" approach. Well done!
Send a copy to your bro!

I agree &mdash 10/07/04 - 05:05:46 PM
with Alimar that this has a sixties "surf" style with a "now" approach.
This has all the elements that the "surf" style should have. Oh, and don't
grow up because I'm older than you and I don't plan on it.

I had Dick Dale in mind, but yeah. ... I love that stuff. But I don't own any.
(sigh) time to go to i-tunes and download the masters.

Great Guitar, New More Drum Attention &mdash 10/08/04 - 10:16:17 PM
Hey, the guitar sounds are excellent. This is a catchy
raucous surf tune, very tasty. My only suggestion is that
the drums sound artificial next to the very energetic,
obviously real live guitar. They sound mechanical, there
need to be some fills and some more variation in velocity
to make the drums feel more natural. Just a technical
quibble - Otherwise, nice job!

Ventures with a new kick &mdash 10/11/04 - 01:48:06 PM
The Ventures would be a closer representation I think,
than Dick Dale. After all, The Venture pretty much
invented metal, whether they'd like to think they did or
not, heh!

Not really my style of music so I'll refrain from voting, but
I did like the scales approach in the middle there... for
some reason, I feel like this song's begging to be a faster
tempo, though.

Sorry, took me awhile to check this out, it's been a busy
couple of months. :)
