I am not familiar with the 3 terms mentioned above, but wow.......can you play piano or what???!!! :) I really like when the song gets towards the middle and then it just goes wild ..... your originality is a real gift;)

Nice work. Very enjoyable. Are you influenced by composers such as Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich?

Yes... &mdash 06/20/08 - 10:25:33 AM
...I'm probably influenced by both of them, especially Rachmaninoff. His piano concertos are crazy.

How... &mdash 08/08/08 - 01:13:50 PM
...very much fun this is. The accompaniment has sort of a harmonium effect that is haunting to my ears. Piano score is quite intricate, but delicately written in mostly 2-part counterpoint that makes it quite easy to follow. I really enjoyed this movement a lot and have marked you as a composer I want to continue revisiting... One suggestion: back off the "orchestra" a bit. It's a little overwhelming at times. (Love the waltz in the mid section.)
Anyway, I enjoyed this.
Peace.
Paul
