Description
My go at Latin Jazz. I like traditional North American Jazz and various Latin music styles (+ different music styles from throughout the Caribbean).
While I dig Afro-Cuban percussion a whole lot, sometimes it sounds even better juxtaposed with something softer. I tried that here with the guitar. For me it felt somewhat romantic. The percussion was layered to give a festive feel akin to Junkanoo from The Bahamas. The bassline for me is reminiscent of old spy movies. Thus the name Lovers' Masquerade. I hope you enjoy it (even with the familar loops).
