there's some cool instrumental to this. the vocals seem a little held back i think if you let em out a little more it would give the song a lot more passion. sounds like this would be really good live. lyrics seem pretty good

I like the lyrics and the way you present them. Good musical backdrop for the song that just needs a little more space and high end to it. The music sounds good, but it also sounds squashed like it's over compressed.

One other thing I noticed is that the vocal is pretty clear, but it sounds a little too dry. You might want to add a touch more reverb to it. It won't need much, just a little to help the vocal fit better with the music.

This has the potential to be a great song, base on your lyrics the music, and your singing. It just needs a little attention in the production department.

written, John I hope you get to re record this one day. The lyric is worthy of so much more, and I have heard you sing much better as well. I couldn't buy the loops in this one they weren't as good as the others I have listened to. They sounded way to fast for the mood of the song and were either over processed or badly eq'd. This song could easily be one you hear on the radio till your sick of it. You might consider paying some studio musicians to put this together for you I am sure with that behind it it would be a huge success.

Sounds like some of the Blue Grass influence Jerry liked to catch when writing some of the songs for the Dead. Nice tune. Glad I stopped by.
