thanks. i'm sure in time i will further this. everything recorded is live through one mic so it's how it sounded to me as i was singing to myself no effects or ne thing to change how it was once recorded. glad you enjoyed.

thanks skean. the days where i just feel it seems just picking up the guitar and hitting record gets the best results :) if my aunt didnt have this last week off i would have done more of that. perhaps it was the energy drink and being antsy all night that made it come out so well once i was home alone lol.

There I was, mopping up the mess left by my best friend each week, letting his ex-girlfriends sob and spill their tears and anger for being used and dumped, pouring their insecurity and frustration all over my platonic shoulder. Sigh. High School.

Chance, this is really nice song writing... you have some nice lyric-writing here, pretty music, and good guitar-playing, good loud chorus-change, and you're singing is getting good!

My suggestion is that this is a GOOD base-song, and you should come back from time to time to work on it and improve it. I bet you can tighten up the lyrics a little more to make them flow more smoothly (not far to go), and work on singing from the bottom of your stomach instead of from your nose, to get a richer sound from your voice.

thanks for the comment. yes there are some parts in the melody that came out a little off when i recorded. there was one part that was in my head different than i sang it for some reason which is odd cuz i swear when i was practicing it before i recorded i sang it how it was in my head. for the verse i sort of wanted an airy sound on the vocals.

This has a great, dark feel to this. The quiet intro is moody, and then it takes off when your voice gets stronger. Good song man.

thanks. ive been listening to this one a lot lately actually i spent most of the night at work listens to 10 of my songs on my ipod lol. always amuses me when i do that cuz i never used to be able to listen to my own voice.

this has tons of potential. flush this out with some added instrumentation, add some effects here and there (i'm always a fan of at least some vocal reverb)...and you're gonna have one kick *ss song. i really like the lyrics here too...nice work chance!

thanks. not sure if i want more instrumentation or not. i sort of like the bare feeling on this one, but i've yet to decide. i recorded the guitar seperate so shall experiment with it. i'll probably use a touch of reverb on the vox as well or mix it so they sound a little "warmer" in tone. oddly i found that my voice sounds great with the choir setting in gearbox lol.

Sounds like this one came from the heart.

Great tune acoustically & lyrically, but also can imagine this one done in different versions, enhanced with other types of accompaniment and touch of reverb to the voice.
