This is gorgeous Joe! You so have the touch with the ambient genre. We're enjoying this in the living room with coffee this morning - thanks!

powerful sounding ambience. I closed my eyes as I listened to this and went into a very deep meditation. Really enjoyed the sounds and the mood, cheers M

Amazing &mdash 04/15/08 - 08:50:52 PM
ambient track. I'm a big fan of ambient music that refuses to let go and slide off into the background, and this is a classic example. The nicely placed (and spaced) notes and sounds keep the ear and brain engaged throughout. This is awesome. Nicely done, my friend. Peace.

You're the master of this universe for sure &mdash 04/17/08 - 07:19:24 AM
great touch and restraint - patience - and an ear for subtlety. This Mars project is great idea and a perfect showcase for your talents. Thanks for slowing me down.

Great idea &mdash 04/17/08 - 07:54:05 AM
Liking your project. The first person on Mars is said to be 10 years old right now.

Great stuff.

And it keeps getting better... &mdash 04/17/08 - 08:08:40 PM
Very atmospheric and inspirational - slow drift of images and with the arising of the musical forms.

More great balance and restraint in the way the pads interact with the accents.

Kudos!!

Exquisite piece.... &mdash 04/20/08 - 12:00:35 AM
Can't help wishing for Lisa Gerrard, Diamanda Galas, or Azam Ali to start singing though. It works well on its own - but some banshee vocals would be fantastic!

This &mdash 05/04/08 - 06:50:54 AM
section has more movement to it ,tho' I suppose I should be careful about how I am listening to it...the whole suite really .If it is a suite of work designed to be a meditative, self contemplative aide then of course you would perhaps not have melodies and themes as this may detract from the purpose. And as that type of music it works..I was approaching this more in expectation of a Wakeman,Vangelis,Jarresque type of mood where each section has a particular theme and strong melody..so if I have missed the point then, duh, stupid me......lol Jarvoid
