ok i'm really trying not to make a bunch of posts at once. ive waited almost a week lol. actually this recording is old it was recorded the week before i moved back to seattle last summer i wanted to get a demo for some friends at work cuz they wanted to know what i sounded like. i had a long week of 2 hours of sleep for the whole week and after screwing up lots finally just did a live recording of all my songs. i have a love hate relationship with this recording half the time i love it and it makes me emotional the other i think it sounds like crap. i never posted it here because i felt it wasn't worth posting and i was trying not to annoy people with anymore bad recordings. i do feel it's one of my more structured songs though as i put a decent ammount of time into it.

This is a good, honest croon... a "normal" song for my little musical brain, which can get sidetracked by technology... inspires me to get back to songwriting and give hte effects a break.

nice little jem. You REALLY need to start adding all the backing instruments or at least get some folks here to give you a hand. I think you write very well and your tunes deserve to be takin' to the next level.

thanks. i know i really need to get decent recordings, i've been trying just seems when i try i always make stupid mistakes or something. recording has been a long battle and ofcourse trying to keep my motivation and drive.

Very touching and heartfelt performance. Your voice carries tremendous feeling and expressiveness, and you sing this beautifully. This is a perfect example of a song that needs nothing else - there is so much power in your vocal. Very impressive. Nicely done. Peace.

because it's a real song, just you against the elements.

The song it'self puts me very much in mind of some of Elvis Costello's work and the vocal delivery is not unlike our Elvis as well. Very touching and appealing piece. Thanks.
