Description
I've always loved the novelty songs of the swing era, and decided I wanted to write a song that had a good dose of silliness in it. A dance tune seemed a good vehicle, so I went for a beat that made me bop around in my computer chair. I wrote some lyrics, found my silly hook, and just started singing.

Lyrics
Old men say
Everybody likes to move and sway
When the bongo's drummin'
Gets my heart a'thrummin'
I could hear the conga every day
Bopping in Taipei
Grooving in Bombay
Shaking in L.A.
Aliens are dancing on the Milky Way
Aliens are dancing on the Milky Way
Move and sway
From Jamaica shores to St. Tropez
When the bongos beating
Nothing's bittersweeting
Everything is suddenly okay
Bopping in Taipei
Grooving in Bombay
Shaking in L.A.
Aliens are dancing on the Milky Way
Aliens are dancing on the Milky Way
It's pay day
Spend your nickels on a little play
Get your feet a'moving
Everything's improving
It can even change your DNA!
Bopping in Taipei
Grooving in Bombay
Shaking in L.A.
Aliens are dancing on the Milky Way
Aliens are dancing on the Milky Way

regulus
delilghtful tune. You have a great imagination and a great
voice, your insturment. You have used GB in unique and
creative manner. There exists a prejudice here for people
as your selfs and me who use the program to support the
real and bestest of natural instuments the human or
huwoman voice. Disregarding creativity of application
and overall feeling of the production using such. For what
ever reason the bias is, it is a personal shortcoming to
themselves for what might be otherwise a great person.
On the bright side your are really talented and have a geat
nature about you refelcted by the spirit of your songs.
You undoubtedly have been doing music for a while. If
not I hope you wll do so for a long time. There is good
timeing and balance to everything. Another good job.
Keep up the work you might be of the next ones to
release an album.
