A few months ago there was a competition to write the theme / incidental music for a new James Bond book. The music was to be included on an audio book.
Audio samples of readings from previous books had to be included in the composition. I was quite pleased with my entry but didn't make it into the finalists. So am sharing it with Macjams. Hope you like it.

John Barry , especially the theme to The Persuaders, has been a big influence on me so I was aiming for something akin to it.

love all the talk about murder. The xylophone adds a very cool space to this. Im a fan of the surf sounding guitar played in a secret agent mode~! Excellent!

was a bit of a nightmare trying to choose which vocal sample to put in..and where. But it was a requisite of entry to the competition so had to do it.

I was a bit miffed they didn't use it as I thought it would have fitted brilliantly..if I might say so myself.
John Barry is a bit influence for me so I tried to get a bit of that in.
