Description:
Collaberative effort between myself and Jim from the Infinites. Jim wrote the lyrics and I wrote and played the music. Jim hope this worked. Thanks for the opportunity.
Lyrics:
CLUB OF THE MOMENTYou had a chance to make your life easy
Now that you’re famous, you’re just wasting away
You’re workin real hard being lazy
And killing off the remains of the day
Chorus
You’re in the Club Of The Moment
When you’re up is when you’re crashing down
The Club Of The Moment
And who’ll be there when in this town?
Can’t you see that you’re gonna be doomed?
You had a lifeline and you’re blowin around.
Trail of destruction and of unpaid hotel rooms
It won’t it be funny when you’re hitting the ground
Bridge
How can you say that you’re doing so great
When all you bought are your long-absent friends?
Don’t kid yourself that you’re choosing your fate
In the Club Of The Moment
Can’t you see that you’re gonna be doomed?
You had a lifeline and you’re blowin around.
Trail of destruction and of unpaid hotel rooms
It won’t it be funny when you’re hitting the ground
Chorus
You’re in the Club Of The Moment
When you’re up is when you’re crashing down
The Club Of The Moment
And who’ll be there when in this town?

This is outstanding. You have a great style and you have fitted the words in brilliantly!
I am so impressed with this. Well done! This is a real pleasure. Great work. Thanks for treating this the way you have - the arrangement is smart - right to the fade...
I am honored!

I am glad you like it. This was one of the more difficult things for me to do since I always write the music while I am writing the lyrics. The song is simple but I think it turned out pretty well. The back story you gave me helped which gave me the inspiration to rock it out a little more. Thanks again and cheers.

A real exciting listen. Great vocal and lead guitar.
Bass line, drums and rhythm guitar mesh well to drive it along at a good old pace. Production sounds professional and to my ears and tastes it sounds great
(the bit of background noise could at the start could be cut out but it kind of adds a live feel to it - like the singer shuffling is lyric sheet around getting ready).
Enjoyed it a lot!

A great moment, really enjoyed the garage sound in quite lush harmonic environment. Great delivering in singing. Really well done.
Cheers !
This is a very nice piece of work. Your vocal sounds great, the music too. Everything sounds fine to me... this is really great... I hope to find some time to check the rest of your work! I listened to 2 of your songs so far and will do for more...

Late to the party - I love how this takes off after the intro. Cool kinda AM recording, has an early 70's feel to it but that could be that big riff you use. I almost said Big Muff - oh wait, I just said Big Muff...
