Mixing is what I think I do best and I am always pleased when a visitor thinks that I have done a good job with the mix on a song. I had a whole different drum and rhythm track for this song and then simply deleted the whole thing and rewrote it. It was then that the whole song began to work for me. After that move the entire thing came together quickly and gelled for me.

This kicks in from the off and sweeps you along to the end. The sound is amazing - only to be expected from you; you have a gift for making everything sound full and clear and right where it should be in the mix - and the track is great. Love the guitar sounds at the beginning, and the different instrumental colors throughout give the piece terrific dynamism. Very nicely done. Peace. [ Reply to This ]

I did a couple of things that were a little different on this as far as the instruments and the effects were concerned. The major thing was the treatment of the piano. I used the detune plug in on it almost by accident and really liked the effect so much that I decided that we needed a solo with that sound on it. Probably drove the folks with perfect pitch crazy. Do you ever have vocals in mind when you create? Production is solid and the change of parts in the song really brings out the words in my head.....Just arrived the other day and I always make a visit to ur page and am always excited with ur style of music and artwerk / pics.
