Description
I posted this track to get some audio engineering critique/suggestions, as I'm trying to improve in that area.

As for the tune itself, I have no idea what to do next with it and I started burning out on it. So if anyone has any interest in a collab project I'm all for it. I can set up the rythm as loops so you can play with the arrangement.

This started out as a lead guitar practice jam, playing along with a rythm loop. I replaced the loop with my own track, and started adding this and that.

The feel is partially inspired from a past hobby that I can't afford to do anymore (grounded due to a combination of rising fuel costs, a house upgrade and the lousy economy in my area). Finding my way back into music with GB/MJs has been a very cool (and affordable) replacement!

I think you are talking about
flying if I presume... Many hobbies are hit by rising fuel costs but hobby flying probably the worst.

Well this piece is great so if rising fuel costs and economy forced you back to music with GB then we are all winners! Thanks

Oh ya...
got so caught up in the music (and flying) that I didn't comment on the song. Frankly I think its great like it is. I want more length but it really is mixed, performed and produced very well!

hey....
thanks mark. Yah, I'm missing that rental rate without the fuel surcharges :-D

As for the track, I'm just trying to get an idea of how much room there is for improvement with GB. Musically, the length would probably go to around 6 min with vocals. (something like 1-2 min added at the beginning and 1-2 more at the end). Thanks again for the comments!

hey Feter..
..thanks man! although, I have to give the drum panning credit to the midi drum sounds. I can't find a way to get it NOT to pan. Other than that, I just kept the rhythm to the left and keys to the right, everything else down the middle. Thanks again!

Just another one that got back into music after discovering GB. I started out 'Jammin' to folk stuff with my Grandparents in my early teens; some banjo, mandolin and guitar. Then I got into electric guitar, played in a few rock bands in my later ... [see more]
