Dont Walk Away

Description
Written at a very tragic time in my life. My friend wrote the lyrics to encourage me to move forward. I hope you enjoy. Appreciate any feedback

This was recorded live at my house on 8/25/04. The mix might be a little rough. The pads and guitars were added post for filler. I am happy with the results. Thanks guys for playing on this piece.

Creeper track
This is one of those tunes on the album that upon first listen doesn't hit you
right away so you skip over it most of the time. but then one day for whatever
reason you listen to the entire album and this tune comes on you never heard
before and so you listen to it a few times and every time it sucks you in more
and more emotionally until you're addicted! I like the vibe on this track.

Very nice...
I feel the bass could be a bit louder (could hardly
hear it at all on my system), and the rim shot is a bit
loud throughout, but overall the song has a nice feel.
Good job.

Really solid
This is a really solid tune. Nice chordal build into the
different parts of the song, subtle and smooth. And sad.
I agree with IVANJS about the mix, and would include that
your vocals are too soft. But a nice easy feel, very nice
choice of sounds. Solid track.

Really solid
And I really like the slide show you posted for song art... of the actual
recording session? Looks like the perfect living room set-up.

Really solid
Thanks for the input Tobin! I really respect your musical talent as well as your
sound engineering abilities. I know how hard it is to capture live instrument
recordings and trying to make them sound right.

Yes the front living room is also our recording studio, though I wish we can
tear down the walls to create isolation booths for voice recording and mixing.
I don't think our landlord would appreciate it that much-hehe

Thanks Again!

Beautiful..
good lyrics that fit nicely within the music..
You do have a very nice voice, but I agree with other
comments that they are very quiet in this production.
The whole feel is very emotional and the piano playing is
wonderful..

excellent...
