Well, it did get me.
I jammed on it and then put it away. When I came back months later, a whole new ting came out.
Anyway, here is my part over johns post.
John had his track ‘goa’ with all the drums, bass and almost all the synth sounds. John laid down the chords.
My part is the Rhodes, the Strat the lyric and vocals.
I had fun, plus, John gave me thumbs up! Yea!

this as the theme to a TV series. Love Karmatoburns music and to have your talents too is just the tops.... not only a great voice but playing instruments so well too (really bugs me LOL). This sounds truly great and a brilliant addition to the original... has a very 'classy' feel to it,nice collab. cheers M

A TV theme song! Cool. I recall how 'Miami Vice' was so duly noted for its hip music...back in the day...a very hip keyboardist named Jon Hammer did the sounds...very hip...

The music is great, and I love the lyrical approach. The sentiment is cool, and your singing is great on this. In some sections, your vocal reminds me of Neil Young, especially in the higher sections. I love the sound of the Strat, and those lovely little fills really add to the mood of the track. This is a very cool collab, a fusing of two talents, creating something new and wonderful. Kudos. Nicely done. Peace.

Thanks for the words about my vocal. I am feeling insecure about the performance. Sometimes it all sounds great till I hit the 'post it' button.
Then all of a sudden i hear it clearly and I am like yuk.
So your words mean lots.
My brother always says my vocal sound "youngish" at times. I spent a lot of time doing covers of Neil Young music in bands and solo gigs.
I still think he is brilliant.
Have you herd "The Way" by NY with kids singing. I have a soft spot for that.
