Description:
This is a short simple instrumental I wrote and recorded one night when I couldn't get to sleep. Once again this was done in one pass for each part so it is sketchy and the sound quality is rough but it is very relaxing. Give it a listen. The lead doesn't come in 'till halfway through.

The Taylor sounds really nice. I have the 410CE. I love Taylor guitars.
One thing I really like about this piece is all the (for lack of a better term) little fiddly bits. The sounds of you shuffling around, the string squeaks as you play, etc. Makes it feel very real.
The one thing I'm not particularly fond of is the excessive (IMO) use of delay on the lead guitar. Don't get me wrong, I think it could add to the dimension of the piece, I just think maybe back off the saturation a bit is all. That's the nice thing about digital recording. It's a way easy fix.

The master file for this piece was on my Titanium that bit the dust about two months ago:(

Hey, Glad I caught this little gem. Very nice stuff. I have a Taylor 814ce and loe every little strum. They are indeed excellent guitars. What I love a bout the Expression Pickup system is that the internal mic sounds virtually exactly like the guitar when it is mic'd. Nice sketch, looking forward to more from you. Welcome to MJ.

You are a romantic poet, and this piece could be a wonderful sad but still hopeful piece. Play with it. I loved what you had. Thanks.
