Description:
Wow, I actually had a difficult time tagging on a Genre for this song. Although it is not done, I have decided to put the base of it on here to get some suggestions, I'm not satisfied with the vocals so I'm going to end up redoing them. Im also going to add some more instruments to the chorus part, definitely a bass, and more than likely a Wurlitzer Piano of some sort.

Any Suggestions to get this song more polished would be much appreciative, thanks guys. :)

Lyrics:
there's no weight left in these words; a broken promise hell hath flood with joy
the saviors dead, the morning star raise the dead from all the wars.

Their weary bones are weak with sin, their solemn fates are sealed within
You go to where from which you came, six feet under above the flame

your stary gaze upon the gates of fairytales , you were quite brave
to think he would've saved us all from ourselves but saved nothing at all

at all
at all
nothing at all

Come to me with open arms

Feel the Burn within your veins

I am everything you want to be

I am the nothing and the everything

I am you... I am you... I am...

Interesting song &mdash 04/26/08 - 12:46:27 AM
I like the harmony in the chorus - but the vocals sound a bit dry in the mix if you don't mind me saying so. Your lyrics are apocalyptic - and suggestive - which is good!

I like it &mdash 04/26/08 - 08:15:31 AM
I don't mine the primary vocal. Could use a bit of echo maybe just for effect. But it's clear and well done.

This is great &mdash 04/26/08 - 08:59:12 PM
The piano sounds good, and the lyrics are magnificent. I think your vocal performance is very good. I would change nothing about that. But as far as the recording goes, I agree with LunaTrick and MarkHolbrook about the effects on the vocal. I used to use too much effects on my voice, throwing echo and reverb in everywhere, in an attempt to disguise my singing really! I eventually realized this was a mistake, but at the same time, some effects can enhance the voice, without overshadowing the performance. The main thing here is that this is a great song, in my opinion. And that, my friend, is what it's all about! Nicely done. Peace.
