sounds pretty good. at parts the vocals get a bit quiet and hard to hear. the instrumental sounds good. perticullarily half way through it seems like perhaps the singer gets further from the mic or something. an unexpected change to the choir feel at the end of the track. pretty cool. suits the song/

hey &mdash 04/27/08 - 10:56:38 PM
what happened is this alex redid this song and decided to "flange" the middle making the vocals drop somewhat. my original version doesnt have this, but it also doesnt have the beach boys vox.

cool song &mdash 04/27/08 - 11:29:19 AM
I especially like when the bass kicks in. I'd like to hear more of the bass line. Fun track. Cool ending too.

this is great &mdash 04/27/08 - 12:16:03 PM
what a great sunshine pop song. i wish i had wrote this. nice vocals, cool organ, nice rhythm and that change with the phased vocals is great. what bands do you listen to? this fits nicely with stuff like the shins and apples in stereo. really great job. only complaint is the vox dropped out a bit at one point. other than that it's indie pop perfection. like that beach boys ending a lot.

Thanks! &mdash 04/27/08 - 03:42:43 PM
Thanks for all the comments! Funny that you mention The Apples in Stereo, michael2 -- have you heard their live cover of the Beach Boys' "Heroes and Villains?" There was also an Apples track on a Brian Wilson tribute CD that came with a MOJO mag last year, very psychedelic. As for what we listen to, we dig the Zombies, The Unicorns, Daniel Johnston, The Pixies, The Beatles, The Monkees, The Beach Boys, Sagittarius, The Crystals, The Ronettes, early Scott Walker...
