Ummm, it sounds like you are playing in a key different than the rhythm section. Garageband may have altered the key of the prerecorded stuff when you exported, or something.

Or are you just playing in a way-out modality?

I'm almost positive it's in A minor, it sounds fine to me. Then again my ear is pretty shitty. Thanks for checkin it out

I guess that means my ear is shitty too! :)

I have been in blues clubs where the leads were played way off key and tempo. I think the blues is often free-form.

Anyway this sounds just fine in my opinion! I like it!

the rhythm track is in E but you are playing in Am.Actually your playing is great-really nice feel and cool riffs.What makes it sound a little weird is the "C" note in the Am scale rubbing against the "B" note in the E chord.Try playing Em pentatonic instead-throw in a few G to G# hammers over the E chord.

Gotta' admit when I'm wrong about something, ha, I trust you more than my ear. I honestly don't think that it sounds that bad, and what's weird is that when I play in E minor, it really sounds awful. I tuned up and checked the track and everything, it's weird. Ha I think I'll set that guitar down for a while a try to pickup chicks....
