Experimenting with a chilled out pop-rock sound. Sorta Jack Johnson sounding in some parts of the verses. Never produced, played or sang this type of song before so feedback and criticism are very welcome.

Hey, Mike.. thanks for posting the lyrics.. makes it twice the pleasure of listening :-)

What really makes you a remarkable musician, in my opinion, is you've got quite a talent for songwriting. In your earlier songs, I am amazed with your rap lyrics, the profound message and the precise rhythm and phrasing you put in them. But with your recent songs, you have also demonstrated your ability to make even a simple musical arrangement sound special with your lyrics and melody. Your melodies are excellent. Although you are admittedly mainly a rap artist, your skill in pop/hip hop vocalizing and improvisation is outstanding. Your voice is also getting more comfortable with singing, not just rapping, and that is a gift since there aren't many who can do both very effectively. If I review your songs, each one of them sounds unique and appealing in a different way. Keep up the great job, Mike. You may not be as well known as the other artists here, but your modern sound and expressive lyrics make you one of my top favorites in this site.

You really have a knack for finding a nice melody. Your voice sounds really good... I wouldn't have known this was the first time you've done a song like this if you hadn't mentioned it.

So what next? An all out rocker? heheh... seriously though, it sounds like you've found a couple of styles that work really well with your voice. Keep bringing it!

Also- really liked the background vocals!
