This is wonderful on many levels... as you know, I love using humor and creativity to poke fun at a bad "state of affairs", and you've done so with aplomb! Secondly, your singing is sweet as usual, and your little canon here is simple and very pretty... oh yes, the right word for "simple and pretty" is elegant. Great forum end-cap too, Roxylee! I knew you, the king of smirk, would appreciate this little number. I was going to add my comment to the forum thread, but when I read someone's suggestion to just go write a song about it, I thought 'Why not, might as well try.' I'd memorized the error message and thought it would make a good line. you know how it is when you can either smirk or scream when you see it for the hundredth time in a week? I tried the beta page, but I keep coming back to the original. Thank you for appreciating my humor so much- it means a lot. :-)

You know, I think almost anyone could do this type of song. It's really easy- all you do is sing one line that can repeat itself in a layer and sound good with itself- just try a few. Then sing harmony with it, then layer the tracks. It takes awhile to get the parts lined up with each other, but I bet you'd be surprised at the results if you tried doing one. Hey, just use the same melody with different words for a test. i'd love to hear about your trying one of these. :-)
