Description:
Here's the 3nd part of my now unspecified long piano number.

Wonderful &mdash 05/01/08 - 05:19:30 PM
This reminds me of a huge ball with people dancing around and my focus stays on one couple. Fast paced and strenuous dancing. She is getting tired as he whips her around faster and faster and then it starts again, the waltzing... Great job as always Paul. Too bad I cannot waltz worth a flip, cause it sure made me want to! :0) [ Reply to This ]

waltzing through the ages &mdash 05/01/08 - 09:30:25 PM
Perfect climax to this nice satisfying trip(tych ). I love the individual variations here that each take turns showing off their classical, romantic, neo-classical, roaring 20s, and modern twists and turns. There is great whimsy in this third movement.
Thank you so much for sharing this delightful work of art.
In some ways, I'm sad it is over now... I found myself lamenting in Spanish, of all things that there was nothing more to hear... I just kept saying, "so.. nada?" (smirk)

Movement 3 &mdash 05/01/08 - 09:40:49 PM
I could NEVER do trills like you've done in the opening (and throughout - but those LONG ones - good grief!) When my piano teacher would set a piece of music in front of me full of trills, I'd break out in hives. In other words, this is charmingly beautiful. You're an inspiring and inspired composer Mr. Page SIR!!! (thanks) [ Reply to This ]
WELL! &mdash 05/02/08 - 05:09:26 AM
..it's about TIME, Paul! Man...how long do you think we're gonna sit around and wait for this stuff!?
Nice and lively, as it should be. Moving further back into the Romantic sphere, here...sweet treat, my friend.
I've downloaded all three of these gems...thanks, Paul...

And what a finale. Full of life and light.
Another fine addition to your oeuvre.
Kudos Mr Page.

Excellent......... &mdash 05/02/08 - 11:12:56 AM
I listened to this early this morning so I'm writing this based on my memory. I know that this movement was excellent and was well worth the wait (24 hours)!!
I'll be listening to all the movements and building the bigger picture in my mind.
You leave me once again awaiting your next piece.
Take care.

My Respect... &mdash 05/03/08 - 05:02:26 PM
The 3 pieces left me speechless truly. I'm really out of words to describe what I've heard during this week. Full of beautiful, calm, wonderful, warm, amazing, magnificent...etc. feelings.
I downloaded the 3 movements and mixed them down in one piece (13:59) and I can't stop listening. Each one has its own character and all of them are gems and masterfully composed and played! Thanks a lot for sharing. I bow for this work deeply... KUDOS!
Take Care

Hey Paul, &mdash 05/03/08 - 10:28:24 PM
If you ever want to trade fingers for a day, let me know. A little mindless doodling on the fret board for a sublime adventure on the keyboard; what a bargain for me! Loved this! It's now in my collection. Thanks, Terry. [ Reply to This ]
Wow! &mdash 05/03/08 - 11:35:01 PM
Classical masterpiece! Very effective piano recording, which can be very difficult to capture, but this really sounds rich and beautiful. I like the energetic style and the continuous crescendos, makes it very relaxing and pleasing to listen to, almost like something you'd hear in the background of a fancy dinner party or formal event. You make Mozart look like an amateur. Great job! [ Reply to This ]
Structured Whimsy &mdash 05/05/08 - 07:26:03 PM
Not an easy task. But delightfully done here.
This is music that TALKS. ;)

Delightfully inventive as always, sometimes witty, sometimes fiendish, and always lovely! [ Reply to This ]
Again... &mdash 05/10/08 - 10:33:28 PM
I'm impressed...floored, really...that you can WRITE this stuff, and then that you can play it...
Seriously, someone who DIDN'T write it would consider it an achievement to be able to play it... and someone who wrote it might consider themselves lucky to find someone to bring it to life... That you can be both people is phenomenal...
You seem to be possessed of the 'classical music spirit' without being infected with its cliches...
You and clark... In a hundred years they'll be looking back at MacJams, amazed that the two of you were MacJammers at the same time... You guys are LONG TERM keepers...
