The Lavalamps of Hippie Death.

We're just another Pixies rip-off band, trying to get our foot in the door.

The last minute of this goes on for 20 minutes live.

P.S. I quit my old band, Lavalamp and the Laughing Leprechauns, shortly after MJ's Woodstock. And if nothing happens with CBGB's, I'm going to drop the Hippie Death band and go back out as a solo artist......I can't stand my drummer!

I think the best
lyric in the whole challenge so far may be "As I look at the ceiling, Count the holes in the floor, I have come to this number, 400,044" - genius! Great track. The Pixies are a bunch of time-travelling rip-off artists who dropped out of a wormhole, skipped back in time and have been trying to replicate the coolness of this track ever since - and failing. This rocks. Nicely done. Peace.

...their backs on ya, did they? Buncha bedwetters is what they are. This snarls, and slaps some great lyrics across the face to boot. I'm another guy enthralled with the "As I look at the ceiling..." verse... that one's immortal. Should be spray-painted on the side of the Voyager space probe so that other civilizations across the gulf of space can get a hint of what we're really all about.
