This song is dedicated to a man who is the real reason I joined MacJams in the first place. After becoming a member here, I have been blessed by many people that I now consider friends. Their support and encouragement will always mean the world to me. I will always be grateful to Chris first for his friendship and for bugging me until I finally gave in. :) Happy Birthday Chris. Boy do I know what it is like to coax and prod a talented lady for months and months until she finally gives in and joins Macjams (winks at Roxylee.) I am delighted Chris got you to join, I wish him an extra hundred candles from now for that... I also wish he'd post another cool song here! Thank you my dear Gail for posting this sweet sentiment, and soooo beautifully sung, as always.

...all the history, but this sure is a sweet tribute to a special friend. It's so nice to hear this traditional tune sung with such sincerity and with harmony that really enhances the tune.

comment first... but on a side note... when you first posted material it was piano work from a studio... right?... I think I remember, that you had access to a studio... but this is obviously stuff that you can now produce on the fly, so I'm thinkin that you've co-opted some of the home recording technoligy... anyway the piano sounds excellent here... and I'm wondering what you used... is this piano real or software... of course, it doesn't matter how good the equipment is, if we don't have your touch...
