Jazzen it up a little, liked it. Effects were cool to. Throw in some nice guitar work and you got a keeper.
Thanks, Russ [ Reply to This ]

Sorry &mdash 05/04/08 - 08:43:23 AM
What I was saying (or trying to) is that all of it came togeather, guitar, style and the effects. Good tune!

Space is &mdash 05/04/08 - 10:09:01 AM
usually my biggest problem Len,I start a piece go at it like a whirling dervish until I finish and there's no spaces....someone once said its not always what you play sometimes its what you don't....I thought he were daft of course but now it makes sense .Cheers Len. Chris J [ Reply to This ]
Always like this genre &mdash 05/04/08 - 02:21:32 PM
So will always have a listen to MJers doing Dub. Interesting esp using alot of instruments, I do agree that there is a good groove and tune however for Dub there does need to be some effects that would take this track to another level. [ Reply to This ]
Hi Diviner &mdash 05/09/08 - 09:22:39 AM
had a scoot across to listen to your "Dub" tracks and found them pretty good and interesting. But what I found more intertesting is the way that the term"Dub" or the genre has moved on apparently. My two tunes are based on the styles and influences I heard from bands in the '70s like the Upsetters,The Revolutionaries which back then were experimental sounds and styles then which became staples for the genre. So I suppose these are retroreggae :-).I take on board your comments and would be interested to hear what effects you would suggest that would push these pieces a bit further along......

Effects &mdash 05/16/08 - 06:24:38 AM
The effects are percussive instruments from the keyboard,a Yamaha PSRK1 ,I laid them over as the final track.....I don't know what half of them are called as they are depicted by symbols..........so until you play that key you don't know what sound you're going to get...it's a hoot...or somes times a toot...or even a sproingdrrrrrrrrrh
