Description
This piece was written initially as an improvisation and then expanded upon during a rain storm. This is the abridged version; I'll post the unabridged when I get a chance.

Very sweet composition - Welcome
The constant left-hand arpeggio along with the right hand melody sounded very music-box-like, delicate and pretty... (possibly the tinny recording helped to make it sound dated.) There's a hint of Moonlight Sonata in there, probably also because of the left hand... really beautiful piece of music. But you do need a MIDI keyboard to record this performance directly into the computer (with a GOOD sampled piano)... or spend thousands to better mic the piano :-)

So this is abridged... I imagine the unabridged version would be even better, I wouldn't mind hearing the whole thing. I'm off to point a couple other pianists in your direction :-)

ttfn,
Drakonis

Very nice
however do agree with Dragonis that it sounds like a music box because of the recording, having said that the piano playing is very nice to listen to.

Hi Justin......
Welcome to Macjam's. It's a cool place to hang out if you have the time. Lots of folk here have information and help by the ton.

I enjoyed your piano work and look forward to listening to your other pieces, and to many more new ones.

Take care.

D'oh!
I wrote a couple of paragraphs about how this reminded me of gentle, watercolour animations of a rainy day in a big city, of people walking in the park, falling in love, trolleys and musicians and etc, etc... then I hit 'submit' and it vanished. &$$%^!!!!

Beautiful song, and magical playing, but again - the recording doesn't do the music justice. Hopefully that will change; your work deserves it.

I enjoyed this ..

.. I agree with Caroline. Would love to hear a version with a bit better recording quality... although the fine playing still shines through... excellent touch, sensitive playing. Welcome to MJs.

What a...
...delicate little piece. I enjoyed this very much. You've created a little dreamland and I am relaxing in it as I listen. Nice. I hope to hear more of your work as time goes on. Hey. The acoustic recording works well for me. You could fiddle with the mic some, I suppose, but you are almost "there" with that. Nice number.
Peace.
