Description:
This track was put together by Iain and myself while we were figuring out how to use cubase. I think alot of things worked on our tracks by sheer accident, we seem to save them and when we went back to the track it had subtley changed as if cubase had thought that it would sound better, sometimes it did but not always. We were just having fun while making this track and its one of our very early ones, just seeing what we could do. Enjoy.

Hardware:
PC

Software:
Cubase

Definately accident, I don't anything would have worked if we were on acid. I don't know. Thanks Kenta for listening straight away, I am very surprised by the speed of your added comment. As you know its always appreciated, and there will be other additions from me and my friend Iain very soon. Thanks again Kenta.

lol, thanks Marc &mdash 05/04/08 - 05:27:42 AM
for listening and commenting. Yes the name just came up because Jock is a nickname for a scotsman, and a Jockstrap is a protective item to cover the genitals. Basically we just named the track that just for fun and it stuck. Glad you like it, there will be more.

PC?!?!?!?! &mdash 05/04/08 - 12:12:58 AM
Interesting concept from a new program. I'm still forcing myself to use Logic for more than just mastering my stuff. Its hard to re-learn how to use a DAW.

Hi Spit, Thanks &mdash 05/04/08 - 05:36:17 AM
for popping by to listen and then comment. Always appreciated. The cubase was very new for us at the time, however this track is about 7/8 years old now, and everything I have learnt from cubase has now been forgotten, so if I ever got cubase I would have to start from scratch. Thanks again.

strap on &mdash 05/04/08 - 06:15:27 AM
aye, interesting use of the sounds, are you changing over to cubase. My bro uses it but it looks complicated to me. experimentation and the divine intervention, are sometimes song writers in themselves...

Thanks Tokai &mdash 05/04/08 - 07:04:23 AM
for listening and commenting. I agree that experiemntation and divine intervention are song writers in themselves and it certainly worked for us. Cubase was only on my friends computer and even though we keep in contact, we don't get together as he lives up north and I'm down south, plus this track is about 8 years old when we use to live in close proximity. Cubase (as we found out) is brilliant but very complicated, and you have to know it in great depth to get the best out of it, which we could not do, however we had fun on it.

Thanks Dee &mdash 05/05/08 - 04:33:18 AM
for listening and commenting. Thanks also for your support, I'm really happy to be your mate as well. I'm really pleased that you like these experimental pieces that Iain and myself did. The creation piece was quite a change that neither myself or Iain can remember doing but it worked. Glad you like it.

They are all old tracks rescued from my friends damaged hard drive which we did about seven or eight years ago. Glad you like them, and thanks for listening and commenting.
