Description:
It's been almost two years since a finished a full, solo hip-hop song. This one kind of looks back, from highschool to the present on how much rap brought me and my friends together.

Lyrics:
I think about it everyday
We rolled as one never lettin' anything get in the way
The debts I can never repay
Like Bryant once said, I got you held down in every way

I wanna go back to the time that our rap
Defined that path as the only way

Flashback March 2003
To the energy of what we were about to be
We were rollin' on the beach hangin' out with Duy
About to free the fire that amounts in me

And the fact that I'd even end up where I've been in
In the past impacts back when I'd rap beside Keenan
And back when Adam and Eve preceded my breathing
I seeded angelic development inside Eden

So loud, but then it all breaks down
I grew up wit' my rap in a small fake town
But from BK to Kyle it was all great sound
You been down hibernatin' but you come awake now

Great style, it ain't spread too thin, applied even
I'm dreamin' that I'll make it alive, or die bleedin'
I'm pleadin' for the height of the life that I'm leadin'
I'm leaving it at that, don't ask my reason

If you do though I bet that you'll see a freestyle
If it's comin' from a Beamer than you're seein' Duy smile
If it's parasyllabilic than it's AOD's style
With an effortless push of the button like it's speed dial

But honestly, did you figure out that it's a part of me?
If you didn't then you'll have to pardon me
When I wanna know; what have I been waiting for?

I met Jesse amazed, the way he could inflect
He sorta blended a kind of angelic demon effect
Then we grabbed the mic like a thief at the deck
A dream to protect, suddenly we needed and kept

It's easy to let the past, slip by, but the effort
To keep it could be the reason you lose it as you repeat it
When truly you knew you needed it, thinkin' if you could be it
Then the demon presently being feeded would be defeated but I

Don't have it all? I bet you I do
My boat float, I'm carrying two by two
Meaning that you should just stick to haiku
And we're at it you never know what my crew might do

Now when we started I figured I'd start makin' a song
A month later Bryant Houde started taggin' along
Takin' 'em on, anybody who say that I'm wrong
Then Kyle started to be part of the fate that'd dawned

And so I hope you found truth in the word that I write
And MOB 8 is the worst group I've heard in my life
From Christian to Marc you been part of it all
It ain't done though, not yet, you guys hear me

This is a great example of how much your style has grown dude. From way back in the days rappin%u2026

This is full of energy, mixed blend of pop and hip-hop, which I really find to be your style of music. This track really does put the origins in perspective and set the bar for any of the aforementioned MC's (which includes myself) to come with it, bravo, keep it up man, the more energy the better.

the rhyme schemes you use through this one are relentless. The first verse just sets the tone and you never drop the flow. great delivery man.
