Not a downer at all, but fairly intense and serious! I'm curious about the title... do you have any imagery in mind? I'm picturing a solemn march to an execution, or to a battle, something like that. Hey, I just noticed that one of your keywords is 'intense'! You succeeded in conveying that feeling! Not that it matters, but I think some of your timpani notes are above their range in real life... If you were ever scoring this for live performance, you could easily get around that by having the percussionist play roto-toms, or just toms, for the higher notes.

I always enjoy your music!

Always happy... &mdash 05/06/08 - 03:17:38 PM
when you catch a piece of mine Clark. Thanks for the performance suggestions. Be nice if one day I could really implement them.

The title in a broad sense is a kind of Yin/ Yang look at life but your solemn march to an execution is quite good.
Best,
Charlie

Enio Morricone scored quite a few - some of which were classics.
Nice company.

Not a downer at all... &mdash 05/07/08 - 05:37:11 PM
...but it does seem to be marching towards that unavoidable exit ramp, towards the end...which isn't so much a downer as a reality. Really nicely done.

Always happy to hear your sounds, Charlie.

Not looking forward to one day walking down it but I just can't help every once and a while creeping up and taking a peek.

Thanks Bob
