Description:
This is an instrumental that i wrote a few years ago and recorded in 2006, for my mother. I could never come up with any words, though. Since it's Mother's Day, i felt like posting it up.
It's all synthetic instruments played on the keyboard, as i am sure professional musicians can tell. But i don't play the harp or cello, so, what can ya do?

Is what you did. And what a fine job. Tranquile and so moving. Wish there were more.
Thank you so much, Russ

"e-mail alert, Slumbering posted a new..." I STOP what I'm doing (writing music and software) and immediately run over and listen... ahhhh...
What a sweetly beautiful piece of music. Here's *my* thank you to yet another mom, one who brought you into this world, allowing us to enjoy your talented music... thank you "Slumbering's mom!" And thank you for sharing this with us! It has that gorgeous "Pachelbel's Canon" timeless beauty. It needs no words, as it speaks directly to the heart!

And your graphic has the same look as this sounds. Gentle and graceful, just as I'm sure you intended. And don't worry about the software instruments - I'll bet your mother loved it anyway :) (Don't you wish you could play all of the sounds just as they play in your head?)
Thanks for sharing this wonderful gem. Fine harp sound and so is the cello... I'm impressed! Very beautiful and neat.

A moving and graceful piece of music. The sounds are very good (synthetic or not!) and the melody is very nice. Nicely done. Peace.

Lovely piece Ms S. Would love to hear it with a couple of real instruments, but until then, this will do just fine.

Distinctly early baroque feel to this - yet it manages to sound quite modern as well. Lovely.

This is delicately beautiful. A wonderful gift for anyone. I agree with drakonis - a timelessly beautiful melody that needs no words. You've gotten some really good sounds out of the GB cello and harp here, too. Thanks for sharing this with us.

A very pretty, deep piece. It says a lot. It doesn't need vocals.
