Description

Have a listen and tell me what you think. I'll be esp interested in feedback regarding levels and sounds etc, also would be interested in whether or not you like it and why? I like the sounds but not sure about the levels. For me I created something that could have gone on for a little longer, however I did not want it to be too repetitive. It makes you want to listen to the track again. Hope you like it as much as I do.

The beat at the start is supposed to be light however at the end of the track I have underlaid a heavier beat that should have been louder. Thanks again Craft, really appreciated. 	Ok- I'm horrible at giving useful feedback, but here goes :P I like the panning in the intro. The warbly ascending synth seemed a tad loud to me (kinda scared me, hehe) Overall it has a sort of primal feel to me with the drums/beats. I like what I just listened to and I'm going to listen again :) Nice track sir!

	Summer Dusk Mmmmm Keith I like it . So many interesting sound effects going on. Love the title and the pic as well. Sounded alright to my two ears. I actually love it. well this has a different feel to it. I, for one, like it a lot. Good use of flanger-like effect. That bass is wicked, maybe a bit too loud? It depends on compression, not on loudness. Good addition of layers! As Lengold said, nice and gentle. I dig those beats a lot! My mysterious arab percussion friend;))). Cute melody. My only real suggestion would be to let the bass fluctuate a bit more (just so it still fits all those melodies...not an easy job, i am sure).
Very good job, I really love your progression!

Good to see you here, and really pleased for you about meeting this Lady, and I wish you all the best and hope it goes well. I will try in the future to bring in more compression into the tracks esp the bass and also try more flucuations. some good advice from all .. marc was pretty insightful but i think you knew all that .. it is hard to makes choices on levels and finding resolution to them ... that being said i actually pretty much like it as is .. it does not get repetitious at all ... third listen .. find a singer ... next step. very nicely done keith.

	well to me.. ... levels sound generally ok, tho' this works better as instrumental than vocal, I'd think, as the structure is pretty loose, which keeps the interest all the way to the end - nice one. Check out my latest song called Deeper (w/t Racerat)

	Background Sounds more like a great background scene to a movie futuristic movie. I like the melody around 3:30. But not the repetitive bass. Check out my latest song called Constellation V.2

	Dance with restraint This is sort of dance music, but it's fairly quiet in character. Nice atmosphere, but the arrangement could use a bit more daring. Too much of it is just gentle background. Gentle is good, but background is not. Check out my latest song called Desert Stars

The levels work for me!
Slightly restrained and stately energy, almost like a group of gentlemen performing this one live in their tuxes - Kraftwerk meets a string quartet (bizarre image, no?) ; has great depth of feeling, continuously interesting variety, and a smooth ambient/lounge kind of atmosphere. I really liked the entry of the high toms and percussive sounding lead around half way through - but then it's all good!

So many winners, so little time....
