Its a marvelous feelin to be among the nature ..
wide open spaces .and sure this piece giving me
the high flyin spirit of all of that .such a peaceful

I"m always playing with and tweeking them.
Sometimes I think I'm pretty close to what I'm after and sometimes Garageband starts balking making music making a little more of a challenge.

Drak, your ear takes 2nd to no ones and your points, as always are well considered.
I'm still working with this at home and will try out some of your suggestions though Garageband is starting to protest at what I'm asking from it. I'm almost afraid that it will just shut down and say go try and figure this out on Logic and get off my back. You only paid less a 100 bucks for me what do you want?

Nice expressive, flowing work here. There are only two things... possibly give a little breath in the middle with some lowered dynamics or drop some strings for a bit to help the final build-up... and the high strings had a rather piercing quality to them, perhaps a teeny more tweaking with the EQ there, taking the high-end edge off a little?
But I like the low end counter-movement, it does give a feeling of huge fields of waving grassland. Cool aural imagery!

As RickW says, this has a Big Sky feel for sure. I imagine a trail of people traveling across the prairie... So much of your music has cinematic quality to it, and I know you also make movies, so I'm wondering if you ever write music for your own films?

Over the years I've spent less time on film and more on music. But I have used my music in several projects, sometimes sparingly, sometimes wall to wall, and was pleased with the results.
In fact I'm now putting together a film to work with a piece of mine called "Flight over Baghdad". It's a powerful music and so far I think it will make a powerful film. When it's done I'll post it on You-tube and let you and my fellow Macjamers know. I'd love to have your take on it.
