a story being told indeed. I would like this to go on, developed at a slower pace and epanded to unknown heights. Keep going at it, Shon. I dig these small but beautiful audio paintings a lot. The picture really fits the music.

That's a nice phrase, and I'm flattered that you'd describe my noises as such. Maybe I'll have a go at expanding this snippet sometime. It is so encouraging that you always seem to get what I'm up to. Thanks for the remarks, marc.

Journaling by sampler. You're on to something interesting with that. I like the body of this piece, but the sample that starts and stops it doesn't seem to fit by my ear. However, that's just me. The piece still works well---reminds me of Matmos' addition to the "Clicks and Cuts 2" compilation.

or that was our thinking in appending those crappy noises. I think there's a basically ridiculous essence to the tune, but it ended up sounding more sincere than it was. I think the annoying mouth noises at beginning and end were meant to indicate the foolishness of the main body, however, it probably just overshadows what is a more subtle clownishness... Still, for some reason I like the ill fitting noises, but it maybe more a long the lines of an inside joke, that always a bad way to go about things. In any case, you're definitely right about it not fitting.
