really like the guitar &mdash 05/16/08 - 10:50:28 PM
And the way it is suspended in the brooding vortex of step motion chords. I enjoy your work!

A vortex of insanity, (if we call the normal situation sanity!) yes, inside Luna, Thanks.

I love the transition at the 3 minute mark - completely unexpected. I loved the constant stretching towards the Major key....almost getting there, but not quite, a little closer each time. And the tension builds with no resolution? I'm assuming that's coming in part 2. Great piece of work Confounded. Another wonderful mix from you. I expected the bottom chords to get old but they never did - you kept things moving. Thanks for sharing this!

thanks kassia, yes there is a tension in the song as it always want to reach the climax, but it keeps it for the next minute! I happy that you liked this too.

Peace.

held my breath through it... &mdash 05/17/08 - 12:37:17 AM
probably not a good idea, but I was anxious, waiting to hear what was going to come next. Excellent work creating suspense... and the bend in the guitar note felt like a mournful scream... a kind of anguished dissonance. You have a great gift wrapping up strong emotion in your music and delivering it with skill. Another nice work here. Full of emotional sadness, but I do feel a strong desire to push forward, with hope and knowledge of better things soon. I wish these things for you.
ttfn,
Drakonis

Nice &mdash 05/17/08 - 12:55:43 AM
I like the ambient noises in the background at the start. I think maybe you should bring them back towards the end of the song (just an idea). I would also like to hear more bottom end frequencies like a bass drum, or ethnic percussion, or lower synth part. It just sounded like the mix was a little top heavy (this could be my headphones though). This song brings images in my mind of a bustling train station or some communal place and then the crowd disperses and there is a coldness in the air. Towards the end I start to see sunshine though and look forward to what part 2 brings. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks &mdash 05/17/08 - 02:12:09 AM
Thanks for the comment and of course for your suggestion, this is a two part song which at first was a long 12 minute track, So some feelings are usual, and about what you said, I myself felt too that some parts may need another line under it, but, as you''l find out in the next part, it has to be this way, somehow simplicity, or as Drakonis said some anxiously feelings.
Thanks for your interest.

Peace.

The feelings in this.. &mdash 05/17/08 - 10:25:56 AM
I, too, am waiting to hear what Spring will create for you. This Winter piece says it all, the despair, loneliness in a crowd, desperation for a change, grey skies, endless waiting... You compose it all so well... And the photography is great, too.:-)

ambient movement &mdash 05/17/08 - 11:42:42 PM
the sound of the crowd felt cold, and the music amplified the chill. is it you playing a guitar? the guitar cries an anthem of strength, despite the bitter cold. it is another piece with great depth. 0x0

Sorry, &mdash 06/20/08 - 05:41:14 PM
I should have listened to this first. I was "confounded" by the baby's laughter in Part II. Maybe, you need innocence to be able to laugh at tragedy?
